561. PEANUT BUTTER and BACON SPAGHETTI

Serves 4

8 oz. Spaghetti or Thin Spaghetti, uncooked
1 10-oz. package frozen peas, thawed
1/2 cup fat-free chicken broth
1/2 cup skim milk
1/4 cup creamy peanut butter
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1/2 tsp. sugar
6 slices cooked bacon, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste

Cook pasta according to package directions. Two minutes before pasta is done, add the peas. Combine chicken broth, milk, peanut butter, soy sauce and sugar in a heavy saucepan. Cook over medium heat until sauce thickens, about 10 minutes.

Drain pasta and peas. Combine pasta and sauce and toss well. Sprinkle with bacon and add salt and pepper to taste.

Liked the simplicity of your peanut butter, bacon & pasta recipe. I'm quite intrigued about how the peanut butter and soy sauce works together though. Anyways Thanks for the simple n quick recipe-Casey
